Andrew Pizor is a senior attorney at the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC). He works on a range of issues, including mortgage financing, defending homeowners from foreclosure, and protecting consumers from abusive debt relief and credit repair services. Andrew also assists advocates with credit math calculations.
He is a co-author of Mortgage Lending, Mortgage Servicing and Loan Modifications, and Consumer Credit Regulation and a contributing author to Federal Deception Law, Fair Credit Reporting, Home Foreclosures, Truth In Lending. Andrew also serves as an expert witness on consumer credit issues, and he is the lead author of Larger Loans Need Lower Rates: A 50-State Survey of the APRs Allowed for a $10,000 Loan and The LIBOR Is Ending: What Consumer Advocates Should Know.
Before joining NCLC, he worked as an attorney at the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, the Consumer Law Group, LLC, and Legal Services Corp. of Delaware.
