Stefanie Davis

Stefanie K. Davis is an Assistant General Counsel in the Office of Legal Affairs at the Legal Services Corporation (LSC). She is responsible for drafting LSC's regulations and providing guidance on statutory and regulatory questions to LSC and its grantees. Most recently, Ms. Davis served as the project manager for LSC’s Opioid Task Force, which concluded its work in June 2019. Prior to joining LSC, Ms. Davis served for nearly ten years as an Assistant General Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she advised agencies within the Administration for Children and Families and the Administration for Community Living. She began her legal career as a staff attorney at the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless in Washington, DC.

Ms. Davis is a 2002 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico in 1997.
