Hannah Kieschnick is the Cartwright Baron Staff Attorney in the Access to Justice Project at Public Justice. She litigates high-impact cases, primarily on appeal, on behalf of consumers, workers, and other plaintiffs with the goal of making the civil court system a fair and effective tool for those with less power. She previously worked at the ACLU of Northern California, where she litigated First Amendment, voting rights, and criminal justice cases, and at the Santa Clara County Counsel’s Office, where she litigated consumer protection and public health cases as part of the Office’s Social Justice and Affirmative Litigation Team. She has spoken at national conferences on consumer law, arbitration, and class action litigation. Hannah graduated from Stanford Law School in 2017, after which she clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
