This session will provide an overview of litigating an individual consumer case in arbitration: Areas of discussion will include: choosing the forum/arbitrator; drafting a demand for arbitration; contesting the forum’s jurisdiction; the preliminary conference; discovery in arbitration; the Evidentiary Hearing; post-hearing briefing; asking for attorneys’ fees and costs; and confirming the Arbitration Award in Court.
