E1: Stopping HOA Foreclosures (Video)

Issued:

Date
2021

Description

Despite the federal foreclosure moratoria, HOA’s can still foreclose, and are foreclosing on homeowners, during the pandemic. This session will provide a primer on homeowners’ association (HOA) and condo association functions, rights, and responsibilities. The session will focus on representing homeowners, defensively and affirmatively, in actions involving common-interest associations (quasi-governments). We will cover: sources of law, board of directors’ functions, enforcement of governing documents, and communicating with and organizing members.
