Shennan Kavanagh

Shennan Kavanagh is a member of NCLC’s litigation team. She will become NCLC’s next Director of Litigation on January 1, 2024, succeeding Stuart Rossman upon his retirement. She was previously the chief of the Consumer Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. She is a contributor to NCLC’s Consumer Class Actions and she has presented at many NCLC conferences. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office in 2015, she was a founding partner of the Boston law firm Klein Kavanagh Costello, focusing on combating predatory and discriminatory mortgage lending and unfair and deceptive business practices. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at Roddy Klein & Ryan, litigating class actions against mortgage lenders, loan servicers, and debt collectors during the subprime mortgage crisis.
