Greg Bass is a Senior Attorney at the National Center for Law and Economic Justice (NCLEJ), and is the Chief Editor of the Federal Practice Manual for Legal Aid Attorneys (Revised Edition). At NCLEJ, Greg engages in civil rights advocacy and specializes in issues affecting persons with disabilities, including the systemic failure of government agencies to afford meaningful access to public assistance. Prior to joiningNCLEJ, Greg worked in legal services programs in Alabama, Washington, California and Connecticut for over 33 years. He has litigated individual cases and class actions in state and federal courts, and has conducted legislative and administrative advocacy, as well as advocate and client outreach and training in a number of poverty law areas, including civil rights, disability, employment, public benefits, health, consumer, education, family, housing, and elder law. He has a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.
