John Albanese is Shareholder in Berger Montague’s Minneapolis office. John concentrates his practice on consumer protection issues in both class action and individual cases and has extensive experience in Fair Credit Reporting Act class and individual actions. He has obtained a number of consumer-friendly decisions and substantial class and individual settlements in courts around the country, has represented the National Association of Consumer Advocates and the National Consumer Law Center as amici curiae in various courts of appeal and the United States Supreme Court, is a frequent presenter at consumer law conferences, and is a contributor to NCLC’s Fair Credit Reporting. John is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Georgetown University.
