Heather K. Way is on the faculty at The University of Texas School of Law where she directs the Housing Policy Clinic. A national expert in housing and community development law, Professor Way’s work focuses on advancing housing justice, opening paths to economic opportunity, and fostering equitable and inclusive communities. Professor Way has more than 25 years of experience in the heirs’ property field and is currently leading several research initiatives to deepen our understanding of heirs’ property in urban areas and how heirs’ property fuels housing instability.
