Cathy Lesser Mansfield is on the faculty at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Previously, she was a professor of law at Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, served as a policy analyst for two years with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and served as a visiting professor of law at Georgetown Law School. She was the chair of the Board of Directors of Americans for Fairness in Lending, has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and has worked as a consultant for NCLC, including representing NCLC on the Board of Directors of the Faster Payments Council.
