Catherine McKee is a Senior Attorney at the National Health Law Program (NHeLP), a public interest law firm working to ensure health equity and to protect and advance the legal rights of low-income and under-served people. She works to improve access to Medicaid coverage and services through litigation and policy advocacy. Catherine has been co-counsel in a number of cases challenging federal approval of Medicaid waiver projects that include work requirements and other harmful restrictions on coverage. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and Duke University.
