Alan M. Trammell is an Associate Professor of Law at Washington and Lee University, where his teaching and research focus on civil procedure and federal courts. His scholarship has appeared in leading academic journals, including the Columbia Law Review, the Virginia Law Review, the Cornell Law Review, and the Texas Law Review. Prior to entering academia, he worked at a litigation boutique in Washington, D.C. and clerked on the D.C. Circuit and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
