1.4.3 Pleadings and Primary Sources
The online version of this treatise also includes pleadings, discovery, and primary sources that can easily be downloaded, e-mailed, and cut and pasted into documents. They are listed at the bottom of the table of contents found in the left pane and are fully searchable. Search filters allow users to search across only pleadings or only primary sources. Searching for pleadings is recommended using the Advanced Pleadings Search tool, found above the Search box.
The primary sources include FTC interpretations relating to FTC rules, selected items from the regulatory history of key FTC rules, FTC guides, federal and state rulings regarding telemarketing and unwanted calls and faxes, and other agency materials. The pleadings and discovery include sample complaints, discovery requests, class action documents, orders, and settlements. Most pleadings are available in Microsoft Word format. Over 2000 additional pleadings are available online in NCLC’s Consumer Law Pleadings.
